During this year of giving and reflection on our illustrious history of Alpha
Phi Alpha, we encourage you to consider making a contribution to the Alpha Foundation.
The foundation annually awards scholarships to Local College and High School
scholars, which enables them to continue their education and or undergraduate
study.
The foundation also annually recognizes leaders, Distinguished Collegians and
sponsors the annual awards luncheon at The University of Arizona in which we
Recognize High School Graduating Male seniors who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
The fraternity’s national programs--Project Alpha, Go To High School, Go To College
and A Voteless People is a Hopeless People in addition to national initiatives
like Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, and other emerging national programs--are
administered by The Alpha Foundation.
As members of the foundation board of directors we are working
to expand the foundation’s reach into areas that not only support scholarly achievement
and service, but conservation as well. Our efforts to secure external support
in these areas will be greatly enhanced by your support.
Alpha Foundation is the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable arm of the Local Chapter
of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. All donations are tax deductible to the extent
permissible by law. As we begin work on a capital campaign that will enable
the brotherhood and others to innovatively support the foundation, please, give
generously by making your contributions today.
